Before Andrew ever stood in front of students, he was one of the students people had already given up on.
Through lived experience, honest storytelling, humour, and challenging conversations, he creates spaces where people can wrestle with identity, belonging, relationships, race, choices, culture, violence, purpose, resilience, failure, and the possibility of becoming more than where they started.

His story
Written off.
There was a time when teachers told Andrew he would never graduate or amount to anything. There were suspensions and expulsion. There were arrests, stolen cars, and nights he had nowhere to sleep. There was violence, street culture, and decisions that could have ended his story early.
He knows what it feels like when adults stop expecting anything from you. He knows what it is to want somewhere to belong badly enough to make decisions that change the direction of your life. And he knows what it means to discover that a bad chapter does not have to become the whole story.
Years later, Andrew found himself walking back into schools, detention centres, jails, and prisons — this time standing at the front of the room. Not to lecture people. To have the conversations he wishes someone had known how to have with him.
The idea underneath the work
Everybody wants somewhere to belong.
The question is what you are willing to become in order to belong there.
Underneath most destructive choices sits something more human: belonging, acceptance, loyalty, fear, status, family, pressure, culture, trauma, and the search for purpose. Andrew builds his conversations there.
